Middle School Summer Weight Training Camp

The Middle School Summer Weight Training Camp is an 8-week introductory program designed specifically for students entering 7th and 8th grade. This program provides a structured and supportive environment where athletes will learn the fundamentals of weightlifting, including proper form, safe equipment usage, and core strength-training principles.

Participants will receive hands-on instruction with a strong emphasis on technique and movement quality. The goal is to develop confidence in the weight room while promoting long-term athletic development and reducing the risk of injury.


Training Focus

Throughout the program, athletes will be introduced to essential lifts and movements that are foundational to strength training. These include squat, bench press, and deadlift variations, along with Olympic-style lifts such as the power clean and power snatch.

This program is open to both boys and girls of all experience levels, making it an excellent opportunity for beginners and multi-sport athletes looking to improve strength and performance.


Dates & Schedule

The program will run Monday through Thursday from June 15 through August 13, with no sessions during the week of July 6. Each session will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.


Location: All sessions will be held in the Providence Academy Weight Room.

Cost: The cost for the full 8-week program is $200.


Spots are limited to ensure quality instruction and individual attention. Families are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.
