Game Day Staff

Scooby has been an integral part of Providence Academy since its very first day, serving as the school’s head custodian and ensuring that the campus runs smoothly every day. For the past 22 years, he has also been the voice of Providence, acting as the public address announcer for all indoor home games. Beyond his daily duties, John is a longtime multi-sport coach and referee, dedicating countless hours to mentoring young athletes. His passion for youth sports and commitment to the Providence community have made him a beloved figure both on and off the field.

Game Day Staff

Larry has been a dedicated member of the game day and support staff at Providence Academy for more than 24 years. Starting as a bus driver, driving students until the age of 80, Larry quickly became known for helping with anything the school needed.

Over the years, he has taken on many roles across campus, including working the east gate at football games, opening facilities for captains’ practices, working in the domes since 2010, assisting with online scouting, and helping with ticket sales for multiple athletic events. From campus projects to game day operations, Larry has played an important role in supporting the Providence Academy community he proudly calls a “love affair” of more than two decades.
