Trap Team Continues Strong Start to the Season

The Providence Academy Trap Team is building momentum as it moves through the third week of competition this season.

The team posted several strong individual performances last week, highlighted by consistent scoring and continued improvement across the roster. Audrianna led the way with another impressive round score of 49, earning her another 25-patch achievement. Evan followed closely with a score of 42, while James rounded out the top three with a 41.

These results have helped the team climb into third place out of nine teams in the conference standings. In addition, Audrianna currently sits in first place among female shooters in the conference with a season average of 23.25, while James is tied for eighth overall with an average of 21.5. These accomplishments reflect the dedication and steady progress of the entire team.

The Trap Team also recently registered nine shooters for the upcoming Alexandria event, with additional details to follow. Competition remains focused not only on performance, but also on growth, teamwork, and responsibility.

As always, safety remains the program’s top priority, followed by fun and marksmanship. Coaches continue to emphasize proper procedures, including safe handling practices, muzzle awareness, clear communication on the line, and arriving fully prepared to shoot. Participants are reminded to be ready at 4:00 PM for practice and competition sessions, with all protective equipment in place and ready to begin on time.

The Providence Academy Trap Team continues to represent the school well through discipline, focus, and steady improvement.
