Jay Anderson Earns CCX All-Area Honors After Standout Season
Senior forward Jay Anderson of Providence Academy has been recognized for his outstanding performance during the 2025–26 season, earning Honorable Mention honors on the 2026 CCX Sports All-Area Boys Hockey Team.
Selected in consultation with area coaches and featured by CCX Media, the All-Area team highlights the top boys hockey talent across several northwest metro programs. While 14 players were named to the main team, Anderson stood out as one of the area’s top performers, securing a spot among the honorable mention selections.
Anderson led the Lions offensively this season, recording an impressive 38 points in just 26 games, including 20 goals and 18 assists. His ability to generate offense and lead the attack made him a key contributor for Providence Academy throughout the year.
Serving as a consistent presence on the ice, Anderson’s leadership and scoring touch helped drive the Lions’ success, even in a competitive season filled with strong local talent.
Following his senior campaign, Anderson is now looking ahead to the next step in his hockey journey, with plans to make the jump to junior hockey next season.
His All-Area recognition caps off a strong high school career and reflects both his individual skill and impact on the Providence Academy program.
